Lets face the facts ........ I'm skint and the chances of the TVR seeing tarmac this year are slim and none. I've had nowhere inside to keep her for the last two winters and it's beginning to take it's toll. I'm getting earache from every angle about selling it.
I still keep it insured though (just in case), I've just renewed it and they require pics which means moving the car to get the angles they need. The car has been pretty much untouched since November, so today I walked out to it, checked the oil and water, connected the battery up turned the key a couple of times and once the fuel had reached the engine it blooming well fired up as if it had been running only yesterday.
Now I really hate it because I want to go out, I want it MOT'd, I want it taxed.
Why couldn't it play up, refuse to start, smoke like a pig, lose all it's water. Anything to make me curse it. Nope, good as gold as always.
Right I'm off to sulk and curse the financial drought that's called a mortgage and it's spiralling interest rates

Sell a kidney... or the wife... or a child?Seriously though so long as you can do a bit of spannering and hammering your self these are pretty cheap cars to run/maintain and I know that such a plea for help to the Wedge collective will bring out all manner of assistance. So what do you need to get sorted for the MOT?

Everyday car is worth nothing. Can't really use the TVR day to day as this is me getting ready for a 3am start at work and while I leave home in a quiet car the neighbours still like me. Could you just have one car the TVR.

It's had a summers sabatical/rest before but was sat snug in someones garage then, nice and dry (and out of sight/mind).
(Un)Fortunatly with the weather we've had so far this 'summer' I haven't had too many of those days where I want to take a topless trip to the beach and as I type this the tropical storm that's raging outside isn't very wedge friendly.
