Hi Guys

I was away on holiday to Italy, and got back yesterday. I saw some fantastic cars while I was away, I also visited the Ferrari museum while I was there. I took some pics of the cars in the museum aswell as some of the other cars I spotted elsewhere. So here's the Pics (please excuse the quality of some of the photos as I used my camera phone)

Ferrari F430 (Parked in Sirmione)

Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano (Outside Ferreri Museum)

Ferrari 360 Barchetta (The only one in the world)

Ferrari 550 Barchetta

Ferrari Enzo

Ferrari F50

Ferrari 512 Berlinetta Boxer

Ferrari 250GT California Spyder

Ferrari Dino

Ferrari 348 (spotted coming up behind us on the motorway)

Ferrari 360 Modena (Sitting parked in Salo)

Maserati 4200

Just a Few miles from where I was staying there was a Ferrari, Porsche and Lamborghini showroom, so I stopped outside it to take a few pics:

The Murci they had was stunning

Just as I turned back from the showroom window to cross the road, all I herd was the roar of a thunderous V12 engine, Yes a beautiful black Murcielago LP640 heading towards me cloud9.

There are a few more pics here on my photobucket album.

Hope you liked them

Great pics, thanks. Any ideas on why the 360 Barchetta would have a fabric interior?

You bet it did, the pics don't do the car justice. I really liked the cut down windows, made the car look more agressive IMO.

The guy at the museium was telling us that it was a one off car specially built to give to Ferrari's President, Luca di Montezemelo as a wedding gift in August 2000. I have been doing some reasearch on the car, and it is supposed to have cost £300,000 to develop and was the last bespoke Ferrari to be commissioned by Gianni Agnelli.

I think fabric could be better in a hot country than leather, no?

Was this not a one off for Luca de Montezemelo (ex-Fezza prez - now Fiat CEO)? As a wedding gift?

Yeah I'd thought of that....

Although having read that it was a special commission.... probably just wanted to be an awkward bastard! wink

I don't think styling has progressed for the better in this instance.

Hi torque
I will be passing through modena soon and would love to visit the musseum. What is the deal? is it just a public attraction where you can turn up on the door or do you have to book? Also Where abouts is it, to be really cheeky can you post a google map link as to it's location?

nice pics by the way!

cheers
