lick I am wanting to change the diff oil on my 92 Griff. The owners manual states that it should be HD90/SAE 85W90. Is this the same or equivalent oil as Mobilube HD-A 85W90 listed on the Mobil site. If not what oil should I be using.

Make sure its @80W but particularly LSD specific oil IIRC. Joo always used to have nice Millers stuff that I used.

How often should this stuff be changed anyway?

I don't do massive miles, so I change every 2 years - mainly as a sanity check so I can filter to see if anything is breaking & clean the magnetic plug. Only recently acquired a spare diff so I have been a bit paranoid about killing it (I try in other ways biggrin). I even drained & strained one year just to be sure...
