I easily passed a 997gt3 and a 996gt3 at bedford last month. Don't make them like they used to you know.

It's all down to the drivers yes, but a 997 GT3 is faster then a 996 GT3, both being standard. I have overtaken GT2's, 997's and 996's while driving customers Elise's, Exige's, MR2's and even a Mini! Like wise I have overtaken Lotus Elise's/Exige's, Mini's and MR2's in all sorts of customers Porsche's, so it's all down to how you drive...

looks fantastic, but any standard 997 gt3 would set a faster lap time than a standard 996 gt3 if they are driven by the same driver.
