Electrics Help Wanted

Can any Chimaera owners out there help me.
I have a 1994 car and took the battery, fuse box etc out of the footwell to access the heater blower.
Trouble is I am now putting it back together and have a hefty cable that comes the fuse box and was connected to one of the battery terminals only I don't know which one. I don't want to chance it in case I get it wrong and do some expensive damage!!!

Fuse box to battery is positive

If its brown it will be positive, my 94 didn't have this I thought it was a much later revision (also mine is very early). If it has a ring term on it will clamp to the battery, if it has a big spade it will stick in the back of the fuse box (cant miss all the big live copper blades).
