handbrake lever

I have a Spyder with the handbrake re-located to the driver side storage compartment. It doesn't work too well and I would like to re-locate it back to the center of the car. The original cable and mounts seem to be intact, but I don't have a lever that will fit.
Does anyone know what type/make of handbrake lever is used in a Spyder?

Your profile does not tell us where in the world you are which may influence availability of parts etc.
The lever in my GTR I sourced from a mini in a breakers yard, on returning to my Range Rover to go home I discovered it had the same lever.
The same design is probably in a number of UK cars of 10-15 years ago.
As a common design it was probably selected in the early Ultima days and carried forward into todays cars.

The factory sell them with cables for under £90, so the handbrake lever on it's own direct from the the factory or Austin Rover can'nt be any more than £30 new.

I'm in Australia,
the mounting seems to be a tube mounted horizontally accross the car with a threaded bit for two bolts to tighten into the ends of the tube.
The cable I have seems original, it has a joiner on it to lengthen the cable to run around the front of the seat and up the the sill.
does anyone have a picture of a lever?

The pic supplied above is the same as my one.
The tube you mentioned with the threaded holes in the ends is the seatbelt mounting.

Thanks guys. I must have two seatbelt mountings in my car.
It looks like a Morris Minor handbrake lever. I'll go and have a look at a wreckers yard today.
