Hi All

I need a pointer...here is the background

New Chim = Huge Grin

Short Wife = Great pain until I can fit her into car as needs to get to work.

Leven Pedals = partial sucess but may need.....

The famous TVR Chimaera fitted booster seat cushion.

Where do I get these without paying an extorsionate rate for a new one. Anyone got one in the back of the garage? Are there any others on the market?

Regards

Hi Coach,
A booster cushion was available from TVR in the same colour as the seat if you ordered it at the same time as the car. I presume that you should be able to get one from TVR direct as an accessory.

You can get them and £350 rings a bell, but I don't know why because I haven't got one.

Push the seat forward, straighten the back up a bit and bide your time though is my suggestion.

It's a low car no matter how tall you are, so if you're not used to it, it will feel strange to begin with.

My wife's 5' 1" and after fitting the leven pedals and letting her get comfortable around the business park on a Sunday evening, she got used to the low seating position fairly soon and forgot all about the booster. I noticed that if we did have to put a booster cushion in that the seatbelt might not reach around. You can get longer one's from TVR for that very reason (£46).

No problem these days; except that I can't keep her out of it.

Coach, I might be able to help you!
I've got an official TVR one which has been used 2 or 3 times at the most & which I don't mind selling.
I've sent you an e-mail, let me know if you're interested.

Alternatively fit a Parker Knoll or use a periscope.
