2001 S3 - any upgrade recommendations?

I have recently bought a 2001 S3 and wanted to know if anyone had any upgrade recommendations. I am really happy with it although I am surprised at the slightly jerky power output when accelerating. Is this normal?

Shouldn't be jerky at all, I would make sure you get it checked out.

As far as upgrades go, there are a lot of things you can do but by far the best for your ££ is getting a remap. Lots of places can offer this but it's worth going somewhere reputable. I recommend APS (www.autops.co.uk). Great service, good prices and a really nice bunch of people. You should see around +45bhp and 45lb/ft, well worth it.
