I have a couple of niggly faults on my otherwise perfect 996tt. I've explored the manual but still have no ideas.First is some kind of fluid leakage to the right of the battery cover on the drivers side. Under the plastic housing I can see some kind of cylinder that is 'sweating' fluid. Any ideas? No warning lights appearing. Could someone please let me know what this could be caused by & likely cost at an Inde.
Secondly when I use a high pressure hose to clean it I get water in the footwell by the rest next to the clutch pedal - is this a blocked drain? How do I get to it? Many thanks

Hmm. To my knowledge the only drain pipe into the cabin leads down into the passenger footwell.

What I would do.. next time you use the PW, point it only at the drivers door and give it a good spray. Then check inside. Apparently the bottom door seals have been known to perish, athough not on many.

The 'sweating'leak you have is the power steering resevoir i think, mine leaked because the OPC over-filled it on its service..
