Hood - Weatherproofing
Discussion
Hi,
The hood on my Chim is looking a bit weathered and I am getting some leaks in the driver footwell (I have already resealed the cables under the bonnet). I am looking to reseal the hood.
I spotted when I was ordering replacement seals that Woodys stock a variety of products for this purpose.

I was thinking of;
Soft Top Cleaner
Renovo Hood Reviver
Ultra Proofer
At about 50 quid all in......or is there something better?
I was previously thinking of using Fabsil but I would like to re-blacken the hood also.
Any advice would be much appreciated
Cheers

I think Autoglym aslo do a reproofer and a hood cleaner.
Yes they do. I've used it & it's great. Again, although it's clear, the cleaner really lifted the ingrained dirt and the hood appeared blacker afterwards. Very easy to use & streak free. You don't have to wait for the cleaner to completely dry before applying the waterproofer either.Gassing Station | Chimaera | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
