400SX is OK but any larger capacity and that blower will run out of puff at higher revs. Trouble is that the blower has a max rev too so you can't simply increase the ratio or you'll have to rev limit the engine.
On my 400SX at 5k rpm the boost drops to about 5 psi from 6.
However if you accept that limitation on a 4.6 you'll have bags of low-end torque, and a mediochre top-end boost.

i am quite tempted by this is it as simple as just bolt on?
also wondering about the added strain on a 20 year old engine though it has only done 39k will the added bhp cause unseen probs?
are theese a rare bit of kit or could i pick a recon unit up elsewhere?
is it really capable of adding 60bhp?
