Can anyone recommend a good Midlands indy?

I have a 997S out of warranty (by about 3 months) that has a horrific dashboard squeek/rattle and memory seats that no longer remember. Rather than having my trouser ripped down at an OPC (who want £75 to listen to the rattle before quoting on how much to fix it) I was wondering if there is anywhere near Leicester worth taking it to?

Any advice appreciated.

Most of the midlanders in Notts/Leic take their water cooled cars to him rather than OPC.

He looks after my GT3, RS and 944S2.

Chris at GCR Porsche in Leicester came well-recommended when I was looking for someone to PPI an 911 in that area.

Martin Brown Porsche Tech. Nothing the man doesn't know about these cars, . Very honest and only does what is asked no bullshit and touting for work. Maybe not your man if you need it doing there and then, if he has one fault its that he's not the quickest.

I think I probably recommended him LL as if I remember rightly you were looking at a 993?

Personally I'd stick to Chris for all the aircooled 911's....water based not really his thing...and he actually passes them on to Zentrum usually!
