Is it worth getting ?

I keep looking at it, and coming over all indecisive ! I understand you can download some extra bits and pieces for it now ?

I've played the demo, and it seems ok, but I still can't quite make my mind up !

Help !

It's supposed to be very good. I've only played the demo too and I must confess, if it's a toss up between that and the F1 game, i'd go with F1.

I got it a while back - It's good fun to start with, but then the races get a wee bit hard. Still, all part of the challenge I suppose.
Online is entertaining - even better with a bluetooth/usb headset. You can tell people to get out of the way, rather than nudging them off a cliff. Though, thinking about it...

Great game imho.

I wanted the F1 game, but went for Motorstorm and dont regret it. Even my Mrs likes it, and shes really not into games.

Good call, I downloaded the F1 demo and thought: "ooooo, it's pretty", before going face first into the wall. I'm sure it's very realistic, but I think i'll leave that one well alone...

I did that lastnight, on the last lap of the race, whilst trying to pass Barichello for the lead ! Just clipped his rear wheel, and next thing I know, I'm staring at a piece of armco, with one less wheel than is really ideal...... frown

Throughly enjoyable game though, when you get into it !

Nah, I like stuff that you can pick up and play immediately or you work through to get some massive huge explosive emitting death ray of doom.

Ok, I went out and bought it (Motorstorm) at the weekend.

How much fun is this game !! woohoo

I've never experienced a racing game where one minute you're leading, the next you're plowing into a cliff face, exploding in spectacular fashion and, not only are you not upset about it, you're laughing manically ! hehe

I'm now thouroughly addicted. Oh yes.

It tends to just boil down to turbo timing tho, doesn't it?

Good fun, needs rumble wink

Better than Colin MacRae DIRT on the 360 tho.

I'd say learning the tracks is more important, it's quite a challenge later on in the game knowing which route to take for which type of vehicle your in, Bloody great fun online and its supposed to have another track to download within a month.

I was dissapointed with the reviews Mc,rae got on the 360 as ive been looking forward to this on ps3 but saw a developer interview the other day and its supposed to have a complete revamp including the physics for ps3. Hope they do it well and its not just spin to ship a few extra copies.

Absolutely ! I suck with the bikes - I think this is down to my choice of route....

We will have to have some online racing at some point !

I don't miss the rumble aspect of games at all. I never really noticed it when I had it and I don't miss it now its gone.
