E38 735i Inspection II Service

Any idea what a ballpark figure should be for an Inspection 2 service (the big one I think!) on a E38 v8 735i from an independent? I'm in Aberdeen but could also get it done in Newcastle if anyone has any recommendation's.

£250 to £300 i would have thought.

Thanks that's a lot cheaper than I expected actually as I think this service includes the plugs (and there will be 8 of them), brake fluid etc. Was worrying it was going to set me back £500+

I think you'll find the cost to be between £560-£600 +vat. I rang 3 dealers yesterday and those were the quotes for an inspection 2 on an E38 740i. Opt out of the microfilter change if you can as its not absolutely essential and you'll save £100-150.

I guess they were main dealers rather than independants?

Sorry, I've just read the OP properly.

FWIW though, my local, trusted, long term independant (who I called first naturally) quoted £515 !
