Good old Intermotor ignition amplifiers.............not

Think that I read, mentioned by Wedg1e, that the ignition amplifier is the same as on a Metro. Perhaps this can help to get a reasonable priced new one (RV8 amplifiers are very expensive).
I have a non-lucas one, and had no issues (several years, over 7000 miles), don't know if it is the same brand you mentioned, but seems that I must be just lucky.

If it's a 35DLM8 dissie with the amp on the side of it, it is indeed the same as used on some Metro's.

Im going to pull this thread (if I can), as I now believe that my accusations Intermotors ignition amplifier *may* be unjustified.
