Brake fluid change - how often?

Does brake fluid need changing at intervals, and if so how often?

(CV8 with full AP conversion, moderate to heavy road use, never tracked)

Every 2 years I think the service schedule says.

To be honest, I would change it every year, cause brake fluid will naturally absorb water, which in turn boils when you get it hot enough. I use to be in a habit of changing it every 6 months when I lived in the tropics. Now, I have to do it in a freezing street, not so keen..
