I've just got back from my MOT with a failure sheet. The good old handbrake didn't come up to scratch.hehe The tester also pointed out that the insides of the rear discs were showing signs that the pads had hardly been in contact with them. Although the rear footbrakes were within limit on the test. Any advice on how to get the best out of a Griff handbrake would be welcome. CRAIG

Cable too tight, adjusters can't/don't work.... Free the adjusters and then adjust the cable.

Thanks Spend. I'll have a look at that. Might stick some new pads in at the same time. It will be nice to know that I've got an MOT before I go on holiday. Rockingham is 2 days after I get back and I wanna go!biggrin
