Went down to Top Gear Automotive today to have my clutch changed on my Chim and thought i'd just let everyone know that they are a bloody good little outfit. Run by just two guys Mart & Kevin, who used to work for a TVR main dealer before moving to Horizon motorsport and then setting up shop on their own. They really know their stuff and came in at just £170 for 4.5 hours labour to change the clutch (plus parts of course!) for an uprated Helix unit. Whilst there they also sorted out a bit of a blow in my exhaust where a weld had opened up a small hole on my cherrybomb system which had been driving me mad for a while so am very pleased with that. Mart also drove me in to town and picked me up when it was ready which impressed me I must say.

Highly recommended, experienced & well priced indie overall who I would definately use again!

To add to this, they have done a few small jobs for me over the past couple of months, and my baby is in for a major service along with some other items I want done next week. Their professionalism and obvious competence persuaded me with no hesitation that they are well worth using. It's good to have another independent with such high standards! smile

I've used them for a few jobs on my P&J and have to say I've always found them very professional and when they say they are specialists they really are. They have even done little jobs without charging me. So what more can you ask for - excellent customer service, an excellent job done and a happy person paying the bill!!! They don't even mind the odd amateur questions. I would have no qualms in highly recommending them.

As a quick update, I picked up my car today (ahead of time smile) after a 12k service and some other work I wanted doing - fitting braided hoses, new front discs and pads, new CV joints and a couple of other little jobs. All of the work was complete and to a high standard, with all of the replaced parts in a box as I'd requested. Best of all, the bill was easy enough to swallow as the rates are good and they give a 10% discount to TVRCC members. As I've said before, very highly recommended.

So, thanks again Martin & Kev - see you again soon for the next round of upgrades!
