Sorry to disagree... web canvassing can ge good to form an idea, but for a Lambo/Ferrari/Maser or other vehicles in that league I would never go for an online-based product. You need something tailored to your needs, and someone able to help out if the worse happens (rather than someone in a call center in Bangalore, who speaks 1/2 English...)

From there on, the choice of broker is yours. MWA is tops, also Hagerty Classic. There are other specialised brokers in high value/performance cars, so search and make your pick. Think you're insuring some expensive kit, so you need the best cover (peace of mind) you can buy.

Just my 2c.

I agree with the above. All the money comparison sites quoted me over £2k with most insurers refusing to quote.

A-Plan came in under a grand and have been easy to deal with.

What will automatically happen if value of car > 50K for most insurers in supermarket-like sites.

A good broker is worth his weight in gold. 26 y/o £250k worth of agreed value cover on my cars and sub £2k premium

Unless you are doing mega miles - MWA is the only name in insurance you need to know. Forget online or budget insurers. Speak to people who know the cars you're working with

I'll chime in to say that MWA helped me out with my relatively cheap car too. Anyone else in my shoes reading this, they're well worth a go even if you don't drive a Ferrari/Lamborghini.
