Does anyone know what the cost of fitting Alcon discs on a Mk2 GT3 is?

Do they bolt onto the PCCB hub?

Is it possible to use the PCCB calpier?

Thanks in advance

All round or just the fronts?? Easiest is just to ring JZM for the latest pricing as I believe they are the onlt outfit who can supply the discs. Fronts discs & pads on mine were around 1600-1800 as I recall

Fronts cost ITRO £1,100 less pads, rears a tiny bit cheaper. The fronts use a bespoke hub, the rears use the PCCB hub with shorter mounting bobbins.

Suggest you check out the Performance Friction options before going the Alcon route. Kurgen has them on his GT2 and seems impressed with them. Give the lads (Andy or Dom) a ring at Fearnsport for more info.

Alcon floating discs are amazing. They last about 12 track days if used properly (one warm up and one cool down lap). Noticed that you can break much later than with standard brakes esp if fitted with proper pads and upgraded fluids. JZM has a new generation which doesn't squeak at all. Definitely one of the first upgrades i would fit to any Gt3 owners keen on spirited driving.

Alcons are the fantastic. Use SRF fluid also.
Excellent stopping power and longevity (compare to the OEM drilled discs)
Over 15 track days and still life left in them.
JZM converted mine, call Steve.

Thanks for the feedback.

After 3 years of owning a C4 996, I'm stepping up to the plate and getting a GT3, I guess that I should learn the car, then stick the wedgewoods on the shelf and get some steels......

I swapped my front PCCBs for Alcons (JZ Machtech) and am very happy with them. No more fretting about the PCCBs degrading so quick.

Thinking about going PFCs on my 997 RS when the steels need replacing and I wondered why you went PFC on the front and Alcons on the rear?

PFC don't yet do a rear fitment, but I understand it is on the cards for the near future....
