Wiper Blade

Was washing the car this evening, pulled back the wiper arm and "snap" off come the wiper blade...upon inspection it seems like the previous owner has pop riveted the adaptor to the arm...does anyone know if this is the correct method, or is there a proper bit of kit?

Rivet is in the manual. I'm sure you can get a Cossie one to replace it!!
