Curborough this Sunday - TVR Challenge
Discussion
Yep still on, practice should start around 9:30 with the actual timed runs starting about 1/1:30... any time inbetween TVR runs feel free to pop down to the paddock and have a chat with any of the TVR lot, they're a really friendly crowd.
See you there, we'll be with the competing blue Cerb 4.5 with the yellowy/white front wing (mid repair!)

Is their a cost to get in or anything, I only live a few miles from curborough, be good to see your dads race car BCA
Some clubs used to charge a nominal admission fee at Curborough but I think they gave that up, it's been free every time I've been there for the last few years.Tvr_Edd said:
Excellent, I will pop down in the fiesta as I don't think the 7.5 cylinder monster will make it

Its very much so a road car I assure you.

Unfortunately as its dads main car, we have no sticky tyres, a road biased set up and its never off the road long enough to do any decent development work on it... however Dad will attempt to drive the wheels off it at every opportunity on track, so it's regularily out on the hills/sprint circuits! Would be good to see you and any other TVR owner, nice to have a little support!

I'd also like to ask about your recent troubles... from the posts in the Cerb forum it doesnt sound too great
Hope all can be sorted sharpish! The cost shouldnt be be much more than a fiver I dont think?? edit: GreenV8s may be right on that one, dont think I've ever seen anyone on the gates at curborough atleast...

BTW, anyone going to spectate may be interested in this;
"I have been advised this evening by NSCC that subsequent to the finals
going out, they have become aware that as a result of a road closure it
is not possible to access the venue off the A38 (either from the north
or south).
Instead it will be necessary to come in from the west off the A515
which runs between Lichfield and Kings Bromley. The turning is just
north of a railway line (which runs under the road) and although
currently marked as road closed, I presume it will be arrowed on
Sunday. The sprint course is then about 2.5km on your right."
BTW, it's the TVRCC Speed Chamionship. The Challenge is something else
entirely.
