Morning all

picking up my TT this afternoon clap. Thanks to all for the advice, much appreciated. For those that don't know, yes, i was originally considering a C4S, but to my joy i discovered a TT for just 750 quids more.

so i'm now trying to whittle away the hours till i pick it up, and have been searching for full performance stats on the car, but to no avail. I'm looking for more than just 0-60.......0-100, 50-70, 100-0, that kind of thing.

I can't find anything - anyone help?

Wise choice you'll love that car..they are very quick, forget the figures just drive it,when you get used to the performance blast down to Andover and let the DMS boys speed it up a bitsmile

i just knew someone would chip in about tuning!

Yeah, i'm going to give it a couple of months until my girlfriend has forgotten how much i've just spent, and then pay them a visit.

If you look in the back of Autocar at the performance section you will get a date when they fully tested the 996TT (probably in 2000)
Request a re-print and you will get a full set of figures.

Actually I might have a copy of the roadtest at home, will try to remember to look. Sure somewhere on the net is a full road test with full performance stats somewhere.

As I recall - 0-60 in 3.8secs
0-100 9.4 (though Autocar recorded an 8.3 or something one time)

Wouldn't get too hung up about the paper performance (except for pub bragging) its the real world mid range performance that always impresses me, along with the way the car piles on the speed from 100+ - so I have been told, on the Autobahns, apparantly wink
