Sliding sunroof

When I open the sunroof (slide) with the one touch operation method in my 996 TT the sunroof does not slide to the fully open state but stops about an inch or so before being fully open, Just wondering if this is normal?

Yup thats normal mine did the same..with the windows shut it stops some of the buffeting sound,im not sure if thats deliberate or not.?

Mine too, plus it rattles like a bi@ch when open.
