There is no sound coming out of my rear speakers, the OPC have confirmed that the CDR23 is faulty.

My options seem to be -

Get a new CDR23 from the OPC £420+
Buy a secondhand CDR23 £?
Get my CDR23 repaired £50-75 approx
Install an aftermarket stereo, if so which one?

What would you do? Can you recommend an excellent aftermarket one?

The main advantage of an aftermarket stereo is being able to use an IPOD with it and have the full menu controls on it.

Apologies if this overlaps with any recent posts.

Chris,

I'd ditto, Soovy's post. Have just fitted a Becker GP 7990 myself (to replace the CDR22 in mine) and its great. easy install and got mine for about 260 incl postage from ...

It looks the part - matches the dash well - much better than the saxo boy's flashing gizmos ! (or maybe I'm just old!)

I have to agree with VS.... I knew an air cooled and water cooled car could share some common parts..... The Becker's are fantastic, especially with sat nav
