Hi all

20 Teams which consists of 4 drivers, each team pays an entry fee £600.00 = £150.00 each for the event which has 3.5 hours driving time. The fee includes the hire of the Karts and the circuit to cover the circuits overheads and expenditures, Hog Roast included in entry fee, also Trophies for the top 3 teams, medals for all drivers that take part. The remaining money stays in a pot to which the first 3 teams that finish the event can select for there nominated charities.

I.E:

1st Team (1) 50% of the remianing funds go to team 1s nominated charity

2nd Team (2) 30% Etc

3rd Team (3) 20% Etc

We would estimate that £8000.00 would be generated for the charities.

The event is to be held on the 15th September 2007, kicks off at 6.00 pm with celebrity guest racers also taking part but will be placed in differant teams to give everyone a fair chance!!!
Places are going fast and there is also alot of media coverage because of the people taking part.

Please list your names below if your interested :

Best regards

KD.

I'd love to, but £150 for a few hours karting cannot be justified through the Mrs frown

Tell her "ITS FOR CHARITY MATE" i know what your saying but its the only way we can support the 3 chosen charities, ive told my other half she can re-decorate the living room so thats got me some browny points.

I'm in the same bost as Nick i'm afraid, recent spending on the track car has left the 'me' budget a little light. I just can't run to 150 squids, maybe next time.

Jet, is this in place of the other endurance event you were trying to put together at Cadwell?

Hi Wildcard,

Yeah this is the One, Jonathan Palmer has said we can have Cadwell but sourcing the cars and insurances at such a late stage has proved to be difficult, we will do this event and hopefully do a bigger one at Cadwell Etc next year.
