Has anyone got experience of a product called PunctureShield (www.punctureshield.co.uk).
It's a puncture sealant that is injected into the tyre where it reamains for the life of the tyre. In the event of a puncture the sealant fills the hole and hardens. Unlike Tyre-Weld the repair is permanent.
My local independant BMW/Merc specialist (Prestige Performace - St.Albans) are appointed installers and they have a demo tyre that you can stab with a screwdriver to see the sealant work it's magic.
Ideal for us TVR owners with no spare wheel.
BUT - It all seems too good to be true, there MUST be a catch. There is very little independant information available about this product and my TVR dealer has never heard of it.

I've heard of a similar thing, but on mountain bikes not cars. I guess cars is just a natural progression.
Being the sceptical sort of person I am, I don't think I'd fancy flinging my Tuscan around the country lanes whilst relying on a product like puncture sheild to keep my tyres inflated!
However as a 'tool' for seeing you to the local Kwik Fit it would be less hassle than tyre weld and if I recall correctly, the stuff for bikes is bright green so if you can see if you've had a puncture quite easily
