New Griff for under a grand!

I've just fitted the Nitrons I picked up yesterday. (850+vat - Ordered last Thursday, picked up 6 days later) What a difference!!!!!!! It's like driving a new car
Took 2 hrs to fit and set the ride hights. I can recommend them to anyone but fit them your self and save some cash.

Off for a geometry check this afternoon so it could get even better

Incidentally, what ride heighs are a standard Griff set to? mine is currently at 615 mm front and 650mm rear (measured through the centre line of the wheel to the bottom of the wheel arch)

I wouldn't rely on this measurement if I were you. It depends on the fit of the body to chassis & how the body was moulded, so isn't consistent between cars.

You've 3 options:
1 - measure a few standard cars chassis/ground clearance on a flat surface & then set yours to the same.
2 - ditto, but then get it 'corner weighted' as well.
3 - Set it up by trial & error by eye/driving.

Option 2 is the best but 3 is the most realistic (& the way I did it - ended up with 3 fingers clearance between wheel & arch on the drivers side/2 fingers on the passenger side).
