Tiptronic (apologies , its not mine)
Full leather pack (i mean FULL , its everwhere)

its about a 54-55 trade so yes , its also well under average miles and well over average spec, 60-65 would be nice , weather its possible is another thing

just giving you a ballpark mate.. it is low miles - I think the colour is a love/hate thing - might impact price?

If you can get 60k for it, why not?

Hi Paul

Will we see the GT2 and the RS on a future Total 911 tour? That would be fun!!!

Edit - I can vouch for this Turbo - it's lovely

That's not good...anyone from the French trip? Were they banned - if so, are they continuing the tour as a passenger?

I couldn't do this tour unfortunately - my birthday this weekend, and I've obnly just got back from 2,000 miles around Scotland. Must take Claire to the beach soon or I'll be in trouble!

Paul, nice to hear you got the allocation on the 997GT2 wink, I spoke with Newk OPC and they require a Letter of Intent for my allocation, I just can't decide whether I want to spend a whole lot more cash for something very similar... confused

Good luck with the sale on the TT, its a great looking car but I think realistically its worth mid 50's considering year, mileage & spec against whats available in the market at present. Sell in the summer while prices are a little higher. wink

Ah - not surptrised it was Mitch!

Say hi to your Dad, Darren, Mitch etc when you next speak to them.

PS - Met up with Robert and Rick yesterday (Red 997S) - had a great laugh reminiscing about the France trip.

55k max IMVHO

mileage a big plus but against its got no OPC extended warranty

spec is average for a TT IMO rather than higher than average

biggest problem is a) colour and b) tip esp. when IMHO speed yellow is more the choice of the enthusiast whereas tip is most certainly not

Thanks Adam , its not my car but i agree , i told him not to go tip.

The car was 100k list and we'll have to agree to disagree thats its an above average spec , not many like this.

so roughly 10k of options which is high considering there is no PCCB, X50 or aerokit (the expensive options) which would make it high spec in my book.

Has the all-important PCM (like most TTs) and agree its "unusual" given the yellow bits (which would look nice with this colour combo) but not in a way that would add much to the value.

Leather is std on seats, doors and dash although you can add to this (large leather packs, seatbacks, rooflining, inner door sills, steering column, centre console etc) it costs a lot but doesn't add much to resale.

There are plenty of cars like this out there, and I should think the colour/tip combo will narrow the market considerably. Lots of 2002/3 cars offered at dealers at around the low to mid £50's which would probably allow for a mid to high £40s trade bid.
Also don't think any of the extras will add to the price - you'll be better of fitting the original kit, and selling on the aftermarket stuff
My experience with selling cars at this kind of price, is that people don't generally buy privately. Private buyers come into the market at around £40k ish, but the lure of the OPC is too great with cars over £50k. So, you may get lucky and find someone who wants that exact spec, or you'll probably end up hitting the dealer bid..... All IMHO of course...thumbup
