Righto chaps

Ive been digging for information on the Rally Super Special stage to be hosted at Odsal Stadium on Sunday 22nd of July (this weekend) and have finally found some information linked from the Bradford Classic information site

http://www.bradford.gov.uk/asp/bradfordclassic/ind...

All the information is on the page, but if you're like me and too lazy to read it, Ive taken the liberty of cutting and shunting it on here

"The inaugural Bradford Classic was held in 2006 when 120 cars were displayed in Centenary Square and the surrounding pedestrian areas. Six thousand people attended the event and the positive comments have encouraged us to make it bigger and better and to run it over two days.

This year's classic car show will take place on the 21 July 2007 between 10am and 4pm in Centenary Square. Already over 200 cars have booked their place representing a wide range of British, European, Japanese and American cars from the turn of the century to the present day. Details will be placed on the web site as we confirm details. This year’s special theme is a tribute to rallying and so we are expecting plenty of competition cars to be on display.

For the second year running we have been sponsored by Yorkshire Bank and we would like to thank them for their support.

The Kickstart Super Stage at Odsal Stadium

See the best of world rally cars throughout the history of the sport. Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the introduction to Group B rallying we have brought 15 genuine ex-works cars courtesy of Slowly Sideways. Group B rally cars dominated rallying in the 1980s and as there were few limitiations on the technology used they often featured tubocharged engines and four wheel drive.

The Kickstart Super Stage will give you a rare opportunity to see and hear these cars in action. Cars like the Audi Quattro, Lancia 037, Renault 5 Turbo, Toyota Celica, Porsche 959 and the Opel Manta. These are the most dramatic and exciting rally cars you will ever see.

Supporting the rally cars we have Russ Swift and his precision display. Gasp as he parks his Mini from a handbrake turn into the smallest of gaps. Watch stunned as his Mini drives on two wheels, you won't believe what this man can do with a Mini.

Tickets: Adult £6.00 Children under 16 £3.00. Family ticket (two adults and two children) £15.

All profits from this event will be donated to our nominated charitites (cars subject to availability).

I'm gonna ask some of my rugby watching friends, but from the looks of the map, there is a big car park just over the road. By the nature of the place, I would've thought there be plenty of parking about.

I'm going biggrin

Lol

However, theres a company doing tour flights in an old dakota and since my dad never shut up about it when they were last doing thought it would be a good idea to get him a flight on it.

The leisure centre across the road from Odsal has two huge car parks and there is parking by the cricket club at the back of the stadium although that'd be a struggle in a low car.

I unfortunately can't make this one as I have been roped into helping a relative move house. I was due to be working as well so could have got some seriously good vantage points sorted. D'oh!

The leisure centre over the road is Richard Dunn centre and has 100s of spaces so parking shouldnt be an issue.

Looking at what it says on the website the show is in centenary square which is in the centre of Bradford and no-where near Odsal Stadium so how would you get to the show from the parking??
