Anyone got any views on Permaguard??

Thinking about having one of my cars treated. Would appreciate any views anyone might have.

I'm in the 'sceptics' camp.

Can't speak specifically for the Permaguard product, but not keen on these clear 'bras'. They seem expensive, do show up and only provide limited protection. Not sure how easy they are to remove either.

I'd prefer to put the money towards paint repairs if necessary.

Others may differ.

Permaguard/Supaguard/etc are all equally effective. ie, not very.


For shine - go with a good wax (Zymol/Swissol/P21S etc) or Klasse/Rejex/Zaino amongst the synthetic options

For protection - go with Paintshield

For both - wax on top of Paintshield
