Noble racecar colour suggestions

I'm having the car repainted and I've an opportunity to get it looking more race car like. Currently it's Viper Steel Blue which although great on a road car doesn't lend itself to being stickered up and standing out from the rest of the field.

So, come on guys, what would be a good colour or colour combination ... any tasteful examples racecars liveries would be useful.

In addition does anyone know someone who designs racecar liveries?

Are you considering a full on race paint job, or just resprayed in another colour, and then stickering the car up? And do you like bright colours .

I thought the matt black of the Noble Britcar car looked very nice, also a black and gold JPS type colour combination would probably suit the car.

I also think this looks ace (which has a sort of similar body shape to the Noble, ish)



Also is your company going to be "sponsoring" you, as you may want to consider the colour schemes of the logo and encorporate that into the colour scheme of the car.

Either way I can't wait until its done.

The front and rear clams plus drivers side all have to be painted. I'd then be adding a minimum number of race sponsor decals.

The main sponsors logo is red text and black text - so that rear wing is along the right lines. Similarly the logo along the sides would look pretty good. Have you got a front view of the car?

Trust you top pick a Mosler .

You could just wrap the whole thing with a custom design and not bother with the respray? Wrapping costs a couple of grand, but then you don't need the vinyls done too.

Or if the respray is on, I can put you in touch with the guy who did this scorpion scheme (or you can work it out from the website!):

Could you explain what you mean by "wrapping"?

So you understand - there's some bodywork repairs to be done - there's damage to the entire driver side and the front clam is cracked. I've sourced a new rear clam which is bare (unpainted).

Owen - I think that the Gulf colours whilst great on a GT40 and the above car, look too retro on a Noble.

Anyway the sponsors should be sponsoring me, which is hardly likely to happen in the case of Gulf Oil.

If you can get it wrapped its easy to sort out the odd panel if you have any moments in the future .
I think the Noble race car looked good with the mat black with the self illuminating signage.

Surpised that a certain El jenks hasn't been along to suggest puke green

That's wrapping, just bare in mind its fairly expensive and contingent on the number of colours you want etc etc. Can get some amazing results though - far cheaper than trying to have multiple colours sprayed onto a car. Seen 911s in full gulf livery like that - in fact lots of gumball cars have had it. Should be a lot easier on a noble than most cars too...

Highgate can do more trad type vinyls etc. Nice chap - say I mentioned him to you (He should know who I am if you mention 'titanic GT3'). That GT3 in the pics is another titanic guy who races that cup car.

Thinking of getting some vinyls on my forthcoming e36 m3 as it just looks really chavy at the moment. Need to make it look more like the race/trackday car it is!
