OK boys and girls, I have to go to Brussels from Derbyshire at the end of the month for a few days client interaction (for that read, its my clients birthday and he wants me to join the party! and he's too important to refuse) So, I'll be missing BBWF as it falls on the same weekend.
Anyhoo, by way of revenge I've decided to go by wedge to Brussels. nuts

So, if anyone spots me please wave, honk, flash etc.

I'm going through the chunnel, so I think the other passengers will be aware of my presence on the train!

There are some great underpasses / tunnels through the middle of Brussels as I discovered when I missed the ring road turn off on the way to the Continental Meeting a couple of years ago - will be great fun in the Wedge!

You're welcome to Belgium. Will have my ears open for you, and can confirm the inner ring of Brussels is brilliant. For sound and, .... traffic jams (even during holidays like now). So pick your time carefully to be there, as breaking down in those tunnels due to overheating etc. will probably be like your worst nightmare (not speaking out of experience fortunately: no mobile phone reception, everybody in a hurry, French language is common or Dutch - and English probably fine as well). Even if you miss Brussels (not that you will, but it is only a small country!) there is some nice stuff around Antwerp as well. That is were I like to hoon around on short trips from where I live. Yes, Belgium is the place to be, but don't tell anyone ;-).
Beware: They have speed traps in Belgium these days, and they work! Main motorways have a mobile unit to pick you from the crowd every day.... I drive a lot around due to work, and pass at least one and normally even two per day. No fines yet in the company hack or wedge, but it takes planning and attention.
