It's that time again when the speedo has stuck again on xx999 has anybody sent there's away for repair lately and who to and were they good service.
Yes I could leave it in but am fed up of taking the dash out and giving it a tap.

ETB and speedy cables are the most common repair centres. ETB made the early versions & CAI / aka greengauges / aka speedy the later ones. I'd try and send to the original maker if it was me... Someone recently reported ETB as being speedy and speedy as having a bit of a wait, best to call them, google "ETB dials" & "Caerbont greengauges" works IIRC.

ETA: forgot to point out 999 is 666 - maybe you forgot to stand on your head whilst doing the incantation biggrin

believe it or not, I've found it fun to drive and "tap" the speedo at the same timeeek it has worked - and amused the passenger!

I had mine repaired (odometer had stopped) when it was in for servicing at Kerridges in February, took 2 weeks or so, odometer now works.....but the speedo now sticks at 70 +, its going back at the end of the year, passengers do get slightly concerned with me tapping the speedo though! LOL

Not expressing any opinions here, just stating a fact.
My mate had his rev counter sent to Speedy Cables for repair which has been done and it works faultlessly now.
They had it for over two and a half months to do it however, during which time he lost the use of the car (99 Chimaera).
Several calls were made during this time to try to get the thing sorted.
