997 GT2 delivery dates

[Porsche GT3]

Hey guys,

Has anyone received an app. delivery date for a 997 GT2? Are they all sold out or still available?

[N5GT3]

A whole lot of nothing at the moment, had a few calls into the OPC in Sheffield and apparently "still waiting"

Due to press and internet leaks Porsche are officially launching the car at the end of July. There are NO official orders being accepted yet and no OPC can honestly tell you that they'll get you a car because they don't know their allocation (if any!) yet. Anyone who's already paid a deposit is merely earning their dealer some interest and IS NOT guaranteed a car - whatever they've been told! The first step in the ordering process will be that, in a few weeks, OPCs will be required to submit names and addresses of all orders held to Porsche who will then tell them which ones they are going to get cars for.
