400SE copper ringed gasket.
Discussion
I thought they were thinner..
Actually, according to the bod who built my engine, the TVR copper ringed gasket is about 55thou, (very thick fire ring) The standard LR composit gasket is about 40 thou, and the tin gaskets are about 25 thou. I now run a tin gasket.

I'm using original heads
If you give Mike Johnson ( boostedLS1 on this site ) a quick e mail on the subject I'm sure he'd be happy to fill in the details. He did my engine rebuild and is VERY knowledgeable in this area.
My CR was 8.8 to one before. Mike CC'd the heads and took lots of measurements.
It was decided to deck my block, rather than skim the heads as a way of getting the C/R back up This was because the pistons were running well down the bores, and Mike wanted to improve the squish as well as the CR
There was also something about angles and manifolds and stuff like that that I didn't understand!
