E46 325i Touring

I'm mulling over the purchase of a E46 325i Touring. Has anyone had any experience of this particular motor? Especially interested in performance and what kind of fuel economy you can expect.

Realistic mpg for a manual 25-30mpg dependant on conditions you drive in, auto maybe a couple less

If it lives on the motorway then you'll see little more

Performance is respectably brisk, far better than the 2.2, if you feel its an issue go for the 3.0 330i as it'll use no fuel more
