If the thrust axis (of the rear wheels) is positive/to the right, which way would that make the car pull when driven - to the right, or to the left? scratchchin

Common sense tells me one thing, but I'm interested in what other peoples common senses tell them as well hehe

If thrust axis is pointing to the right, the car will try to steer to the left... it operates like rear wheel steering or a ship's rudder.

My common says the back of the car will push to the right, leaving the car pointing to the left. Think about what would happen if you turn the car around. Point the steering in one direction and watch the car go the other way.
