Still trying to fit the Parrot 3100 hands free kit to my 56 plate VXR. Power and mute etc all sorted OK with the loom plug found in the passenges footwell (thanks to all the help locating this guys). The kit comes with a cable which plugs between the standard speaker plug (i.e. a male and female plug which allows the kit to tap into the speakers). As far as I can see the Monaro comes with a double din head unit and mounting bin assembely which seems to be hard wired into the loom. Has anyone had access to the loom behine the double din bin and therefore can confirm if I will be able to plug into the loom with the parrot kit and how I gain access to it? Even better if anyone has installed one of these kits (3100) themselves, please get in touch. Thanks. Really appreciate all the help I have received with this so far, almost there.

I did one of these myself a while back, but I don't recall needing to tap into the ISO connectors. A quick look on ls1gto seems to confirm this. Have you tried connecting pins 5 and 6 on the phone connector to the green/brown lines on the mute cable?

5 BU/BK phone connector ---> Green line from Parrot mute cable
6 BU phone connector ---> Brown line from Parrot mute cable
