Are there any chimera owners local to me in Farnham who might want to have a look at my new purchanse and pass on any peals of wisdom and local supplier knowledge?

I'm in Farnborough which isn't too far away, and I'm always up for an excuse to get out in the TVR.

Alternatively, feel free to drop me a line with any questions.

You don't work at QinetiQ do you?
The car isn't road legal yet, with not MoT and Tax, but should be within a few weeks. What would be really useful would be some advice when I can go to get bits and perhaps look at a few details on your car.

I'm available tomorrow afternoon if that's any good?

I'm taking the hood to be restitched at 13:00 and will be at home thereafter if you don't mind coming round and having a look.

Having seen the later fuse box configuration and the genius idea of mounting it some else than the floor (where water tends to pool) I have made a modification. idea

Partially driven by the fact my halfords 072 battery doesn't fit in the battery box, I've put the ecu, fuel relays and wiring looms into the battery box, and have cut a hole to mount the fuse box into the battery box cover. I'm going to fix the battery in front of the box. I may loose 2 inches in the foot well, but its more tidy, the battery can be got at easier and hopfully the electrics won't get drowned in the future.

If anyone is interested I could email them the pic of the finished work. I would post but have no where to host the photo.

This is likely to cause great confusion to the readers that have not seen the early arrangement. They will only visualize a battery box as the thing on the floor.

PS: Your solution doesn't get rid of the step in the wing, its easier to just convert to the later arrangement IMHO and glass out the step (better tyre clearance).
