Anyone played this?

I've seen it for 17 quid and thought if the controls work, it may be worthwhile...

comments/opinions?

A friend of mine had it on 360 and said it was, to be frank, shit.
Haven't played it but thats what I've heard from more than one person.
Think it runs along the same lines as Pearl Harbor i.e. "World War 2 starts, germans are bad, americans come, win and kiss the pretty girl at the end"
Guess if you take it with a pinch of salt, all the macho bullshit might be quite funny! hehe

I bought this a few weeks ago and completed it. I thought is was good and the control movement made controlling the aircraft easy - although you do act a bit weird sitting on the sofa really 'flying'!

Don't expect great graphics and treat it for what is is - will give you a couple of weeks fun and not too intense. Liked taking out Paris best, flying around and through the Eiffel Tower

I owned it on the 360 and never took the wrapper off. Played a mate's copy of it and was very dissapointed by the gfx... kinda expected a lot more on the 360.

I can highly recommend Heatseeker on the Wii though, it's a whole load of fun in an old skool stylee: plenty of planes, powerups and a very cheesy plot.

I really like it. Yes, the "America saves the world" storyline is a bit tedious. Yes, the graphics aren't PS3 / X360 standard. But the gameplay is good, it's pretty challenging but not so hard that you chuck the controller at the TV after 5 minutes and you get to shoot stuff and fly Spitfires!
