Hi,

I say a short time ago a website showing someone repairing the rear screen/fitting a new one but I can find it. Does anyone know where it is and can post the shortcut please?

Failing that, which bit of material do I remove to take the screws out that are just turning that hold the rear of the screen to the body and are accessed in the boot?

Cheers,

Martin

I only want to know how it goes together so I can take it off and take it round to a local re trimer to put the screen back in!

If I understand you correctly the piece of 'material' is the 'fibreboard' finish over the top of the petrol tank. Removing this will let you see the back of the bolts that are in the rear of the cab.

Getting a hold on them and not loosing the nuts is another matter!

All done. Nightmare job. Had to cut circles in the leather above the 5 bolt heads, mole grip the nuts and unsrew the bolts. Should not be able to see the holes I've made in the leather. I may get the hole lot retrimed, we'll see.
