South East ladies meet

As suggested it wouldn't be a bad idea to look at the option of meeting up somewhere in the South east.

Any interested please post and we can look at a good venue idea when we have a better idea of numbers.

No I thought we were coming up to Coventry, but I would like to get it organized for one of the next few weeks as I may be in spain for a few days, then off to Costa Rica for some R&R before starting the new job.

12th August would be good for me if that suits the rest of you?

How does a nice trundle through the south downs sound?

12th it is then, any ideas on venues "the Mill" at elstead has plenty of parking space and is very pleasant, easily reachable as well from the M25/A3 or if you are more Essex side we could do the Prince of Wales at Stow Maries A130 (SWF)? Sorry I'm an essex girl based in Surrey so my knowledge is restricted to 2 counties.

I'm happy to meet anywhere close to the M25, although would prefer somewhere north such as essex rather than south

It seems that we are travelling either from Essex or Surrey, can anyone think of a nice country pub in Kent/Sussex so that it's half way for all of us? I regularly do the Guildford-Chelmsford trip in around an hour so I have no probs travelling North of the river, how do the rest of you feel?

I've heard about the grasshopper before, seems like the ideal location as it's between all of us GT in Berks you at brands me in Guildford and lissy down from Essex. mrs Trackside can't make it as there's a prev up North but i may bring a couple of my other half's colleagues who are more into cars than their partners and would enjoy the talk.

The woodmans pub was where the kent meet was in may I think, we sat outside nice place bigish car park. The 12th is a maybe for me as got clay pigeon shooting on the saturday so depending if my arm hurts. The grasshopper sounds nice.

I'm not actually in Essex anymore - used to live there but am in NW London now so its still easy to get to but happy to meet in Kent too - gives me the chance to give the Car a good run

Off to Cost Rica on 20th for 2 weeks and then should be back in Milan mid september, that only leaves the 8/9 sept weekend as a possible for me. after that I have no idea as it is an 18 month project in Italy.
