Bulk Genre change of MP3 tags.

My utterly useless MP3 player likes to sort things into year,artist,Genre. What I would like to do is bulk change some of them so I can order them better. At the moment it just classes it as unknown.

So does anyone know of any free software that would do this?

I am using a PC and am not interested in itunes.

BTW, any song showing as Unknown is due to none or corrupt Tags - something iTunes would allow you to correct, which would help your MP3 player make head and tail of the songs you put on it thereafter.
At least you can always remove it if you don't listen to the songs via it on the computer.

The reason did not want iTunes on my computer is that I have enough 'junk' software on it already and it seemed a bit poinless having a vast program just to do ID Tag changes

Anyhow thanks folks for the two suggestions of programmes and I have found that they both do exactly what I was looking for.

I used MP3tag to do mine, it can take a bit of time writing the rules to apply though.
