As a serving member of the RAF I'm utterly disgusted with what I've just read. Obviously the job we do has no effect on the day to day lives of these selfish individuals and warrants no compassion or understanding. It's sad to think that there are people out there like that.

I have delivered prestige cars to number of the residents in one of the "big" roads adjoining headly court. I have never had a tip from any of these wnakers. I have signed the petition.

I had the unfortunate experience of being a patient at Headley Court after a motorbike crash in 1994 - what an awesome job they do. I was luckily enough not to have needed my family to come and stay - but many are not so lucky.

One not so lucky is a colleague of mine Captain Pete Norton RLC who had his legs blown off in Iraq and was subsequently awarded the George Cross.
