2.4 GT?

The recent GT model... why only the 1.9 diesel, and not the 2.4? Very odd.

But doesn't the GT use the same chassis at the 156, which worked well with the 2.4?

I've always wondered why this was too. I'm sure it would make a good car but I thought that the GT shares its floorpan with the 147?

The GT shares many parts with the 156, I think the reason for not using the 2.4jtd is that is would step on the Breras toes
