Picture the scene:

Early evening in Tintwhistle, A628 towards Manchester.
Driving along in 30mph zone but for a moment my attention wandered to roadside hazards, pedestrians, other cars and my speed crept up to 34-35mph

Children were flung like ragdolls from the front of my van as I drove at this insane speed

Lo and behold a white transit with the blood-curdling words "Shafety Camera Van" on the side. Back doors shut but ominous black one-way glass probably hiding gun toting tax collectors.

Road Angel sadly no good in this situation (I had just updated it).

I would guess its a fine and points on a 30 year clean licenece even at this lethal speed.

I have decided to become a numpty - its the only way

If the rear doors were closed you should be ok - I seem to remember something about light refraction in A-level Physics... (light bending when hitting glass)

I hope for your sake that they were just setting up / packing up - Good luck!
