My business partner has a Stradale, I have a Murcie. They are like chalk and cheese. Couldn't be more different.

It's a more than capable car, but if he's looking for lightweight and track focussed a SuperLeggera is the way forward thumbup

Just messing with you! - inferral that all Ferrari's are hairdressers cars!

after having driven a couple I think he would be disappointed.

Totally agree with dealmaker. I adore the Stradale, its a cliche but it really is like a Kart compared to a big heavy Murcie. It depends what you want in a Supercar - I personally like the weight and stability coupled with the lazy way the Lambo accelerates. The Stradale seems to be a lot more direct with instant response. Love the look of both though. But without being unkind to a Stradale the Murcie feels more substantial, but thats because its biggerand heavier, and when new another £50k or so. They complement each other - ideal garage mates.
LP640 was finished today by the factory - waiting for the paperwork to be sent to the dealer so it can be registered and taxed, then when its collected the factory fit the plates and off it goes. All being well they are both coming back on Monday 30th now, thats about the 4th delay. Mind you with this weather they are better off over in Italy.

thanks for that dealmaker i will take that into mind

jonny5 ive got some pics of your car of another website and ive been staring at them all week it just looks stunning especially in orange ive tried to show him the way forward into purchasing a superleggara but he s had a few lambos and just fancys a change but one day i no i can convince him.

when i was in monaco for the grand prix a sl came past me downshifted twice and accelerated and it sent shivers down my spine i will never be the same again lol it was by far the best sounding lambo ive ever heard imo. everthing about the car is just great the interior is fabulous.

well done m8 for buying a sl you certainly made the right move.

oh and cheers for that simon thanks for the insight into the stradale the more we talk about the murcie the more i prefer it than the cs.

shame to hear about the 640 bet its driving you up the wall waiting for it lol.

if money's no object then maybe-but there's the small matter of £70k over for SL. Oh, and the 430 Scud will prob have SL matched ....
drive the CS before making up your mind smile

thats true tony h cant really afford to fork out another 70k for a sl over a cs and thats a big saving for a car that will be just as much fun as a sl.

like you say as a car the f430cs will be ahead of the sl it will be more track focused it certainly will be an astonishing car the ferrari although it wont match the noise of a 360 cs or even a sl imo.

Narp!

Not me - as Jon says! Was WAY too much money IMHO.

Did your mate buy the Seal Grey one?...If so how much did he pay?

One I'm looking at is GT Silver (which is my second favourite after WHITE!)

I would simplify it as RWD vs 4WD. On the road you are going to get similar performance, 4WD will be better in these current conditions smile

On the track in professional hands I would maybe edge to a CS, on the track in average hands 4WD wins.

On the noise front both are great - in std form the CS wins, Gallardo with catless Tubi they are both equally good.

Depreciation, the CS wins.

All IMHO. If I had a choice I'd go CS mainly because it's a bit more hardcore and rarer.
