Chaz has been given the D'Antin Ducati ride in place of the now injured (again) Alex Hoffman, although racing in the US in the Supersports Chaz has not rode at Laguna before let alone a MotoGP bike.

Something to cheer on, on what has been a bad day so far for British racing.

He went out in FP2 yesterday, started off about 7-8secs off the pace but for every lap he did he improved his times eventually finished last in the session, but only 0.7s off Miguel Duhamel's Honda (just over 3secs off Stoner's fastest lap). Chaz was losing about that time in the first sector alone. If he gets his lines sorted out he'll be moving up the grid today. Perhaps his mate Casey will help him out with some Ducati team tips.
