So with all the rain, a little seems to have got into the drivers side - can only assume from the gutter rising up

All the electrics are fine in terms of the bonnet opening and so on, its really just the carpet thats damp. Right now I have porsche assist collecting it tomorrow to take to reading to dry out - Does this sound like overkill to you? Is this something I really need to spending OPC labour rates on?

Youre paying someone to dry your car?...Not sure what the labours rates are down in the metropolis...hmmm 85.00 per hour x 10 hours drying time = 850.00 + V.A.T. thank you very much sir!laugh

Incidentally though, the wandsworth one way system was practically waist deep - Think macari and chelsea carriages could end up with some bargain cars!!
